Our story

The spark

Lit Candle Company started small — literally. A single pour, a borrowed thermometer, and a curiosity about why some candles filled a room with scent while others barely whispered. West Kelowna became home base, and the kitchen counter became a makeshift lab for testing wax blends, wick sizes, and fragrance ratios until they were right.

Finding our scents

Every scent in our lineup earned its place. We poured test batches, burned them for hours, shared them with friends and family, and only kept the ones that made a room feel instantly warmer. That's still the bar every new candle has to clear before it gets a label.

Today

Lit Candle Company now hand-pours a full range of candles from our studio in West Kelowna, BC — still in small batches, still tested by hand, and still made by people who genuinely love the smell of a freshly poured candle. We're just getting started, and we're grateful for everyone who has lit one of ours along the way.
